Bids may be shipped or delivered as specified in Section 60, Special Provisions. A copy of the plans and bidding documents are also available at online The City of Visalia has New Engineering Standard Specifications, Construction Specifications, Bidding Documents, Engineering Design & Improvement Standards, Landscape Standard Specifications, and Landscape Standard Plans. The Bidder shall thoroughly review all documents prior to submitting a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond made payable to the City of Visalia for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract.
