The City of Quincy's MR0683 Project consists of reconstructing the existing Parking Lot F located at the southwest corner of North 5th Street and Vermont Street. Work includes 897 tons of hot-mix asphalt, 845 feet of combination curb & gutter, storm sewers, decorative lighting, pavement markings, landscaping, and related improvements. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
