Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sims, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
PART A - WELL No. 3 REHABILITATION. 1 LS Well Improvements to include all work including demolition and disposal of misc. well components, Removal & Replacement of New Well House Membrane Roofing, Acid Wash well screen and casing rehabilitation, Installation of New 55 Gallon per Minute (7 1/2 Hp) Well Pump with all new galvanized pump column, new piping, new valves, well production meter and fittings, sounding line for water level measurement, painting piping and components, New Chemical Feed, and all other items as identified in the design drawings and included in the project specifications. The Project has an expected duration of 180 days. The Owner has developed a goal of ten percent (10%) for participation of minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises in construction contracts awarded pursuant to NCGS 143-128. Bidders must comply with the Owner's requirements for W/MBE documentation. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS and to award both Parts, either Part or neither Part of this project.
