The Successful Bidder will be required to execute an AIA A105 & A205, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, and General Conditions of the Contract for Construction-1993 Small Projects Editions; and furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, a one-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price, and shall be executed by such sureties as are named in the current list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff, Bureau of Government Financial Operations, U.S. The Successful Bidder on this work will be required to comply with all provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry, Prevailing Wage Act and the Wage Predetermined Schedule made a part of the project specifications. Treasury Department and shall be acceptable to the Penn Township Supervisors. All bonds signed by an agent must be accompanied by a certified copy of such agent's authority to act. The Contractor also will be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the bidding documents and fill out a public works verification form.
