This project consists of resurfacing two sections of various county roads: Pleasant Home Road (CR48) in Milton Township, in Wayne County, Ohio, from Apple Creek Road (CR44) east to Akron Road (SR585), a distance of 2.74 miles; West Salem Road (CR70) in Canaan Township, in Wayne County, Ohio, from Burbank Limits (East) east to Creston Limits (West), a distance of 4.02 miles. This project must be completed by Friday, August 29, 2025. Any bid not received by the Board of County Commissioners' Office located at Wayne County Administration Building, 428 West Liberty Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691 at or before the deadline will be disqualified. Shortly after the deadline for the submission of bids, any bids received on time will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Meeting Room on the Upper Level of the Wayne County Administration Building, 428 West Liberty Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Interested bidders must submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of the Invitation to Bid. Printed copies and/or USB digital will be accepted; no email submissions. Bidders are to provide two (2) copies of their Bid Proposal in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: BID FOR WAY-CR48/CR70 RESURFACING PROJECT. All forms provided in the Invitation to Bid are to be completed in entirety and the outside of the sealed envelope is to include the name and address of the bidder. If a bid proposal is submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Board and designated as a bid for the project.
