Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Big Stone City, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids for resurfacing the Big Stone Municipal Liquor Store parking lot, as follows: Parking lot is 81' x 91' Patio 15' x 16' Sidewalk 9' x 96' Curb westside parking lot 6" curb by 80' Removal of asphalt plus 1' for material and replace with 7" of class 5 gravel and fabric where needed and compacted. Need tile for 3 drain spouts Include any miscellaneous 4500 pound mix of 5" of concrete 1/2 " rebar every 18" on center, cut sealed and treated. 10 parking lot posts where needed. Include riprap north of parking lot 10' x 80' Ambient temperature of 70 degrees required before application. Work is to be completed between May 15th and June 12th and shall be coordinated with the City Liquor Store Manager with at least one week's notice given. A certified check, cashier's check or bank draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany all bids. Said security to be made payable to the City of Big Stone City and to be drawn on a State or National Bank domiciled within the State of South Dakota. Said security will be retained by the City of Big Stone City in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract when notified of the award. In lieu of a bid check the bidder may submit a surety bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. All Bids should include excise tax. The City of Big Stone City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities and make award as deemed to be in the best interest of Big Stone City, South Dakota.
