Approximate major items of work are: 12,887 TON Shoulder Base Aggregate Class 1 22,434TON Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mixture 3B 5,595 TON Type SP 4.75 Non Wearing Course Mixture 3B 1,400 LF Traffic Barrier Design Type 31 85,817 LF 6" Solid Line Paint 17,440 LF 4" Solid Line Paint 3,068 LF 4" Broken Line Paint Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the County of Renville as oblige, or certified check payable to the Auditor/Treasurer of Renville County equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for opening bids. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities and to award the bid in the best interest of the County of Renville. Award is scheduled for May 13, 2025.
