Type of Work: Bridge Replacement (old 94062, New 65J92) Single Line 12'x9' Precast Concrete Box Culvert w/End Sections and A Approximate major items of work are: 100 LF 12x9 Precast Concrete Box Culvert 700 TON Granular Backfill 375 TON Pipe Bedding Material 250 TON Random Riprap Class III 1200 SY Rapid Stabilization Method 4 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the County of Renville as obligee, or certified check payable to the Auditor/Treasurer of Renville County equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for opening bids. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities and to award the bid in the best interest of the County of Renville. Award is scheduled for the next available date after DBE approval.
