This Contract provides for the replacement of three existing driveway culverts, two on Barrel Springs and one on Dry Creek in Skagit County, near Alger, Washington. The work includes, but is not limited to: removal of three existing culverts, construc-tion of a new channel beneath the proposed structures; installation of a new bridge and two new cul-verts; and other work, all in accor-dance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. BID GUARANTY: No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a surety company bid bond, or a certified or cashier's check pay-able to the order of Skagit County for a sum not less than five per-cent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Contract Bond covering performance and payment will be required with the contract. Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract and bidders are advised to con-sider this charge when tabulating bids. The time limit for physical completion of work is a total of eighty (80) WORKING DAYS. The Engineer's Estimate Range is $985,000-$1,100,000.
