Renovation of a fire / police facility in Beaverdam, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Replace exisitng heat pump at Fire Station 2 located at 16150 Trainham Road, Beaverdam, VA 23015. A. SCOPE OF WORK - The Contractor shall 1. Disconnect and remove the existing 7.5-ton Trane heat pump. 2. Form and pour concrete extension on existing heat pump pad to allow for new unit size. 3. Furnish and install one (1) new 7.5-ton 2-stage heat pump ("unit") on the pad. 4. Make all necessary mechanical/electrical connections to the new unit. 5. Disconnect and remove existing 7.5 AHU from mechanical room in the attic. 6. Furnish and install one (1) new 2-stage AHU in the mechanical room. 7. Rework and reconnect power to AHU. 8. Furnish and install one (1) new thermostat for unit. 9. Flush and reconnect old line set to new system. 10. Pressure test and pull vacuum on the system. 11. Charge system and test. 12. Dispose of the old system and other work-related debris. BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD: Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for thirty (90) days. At the end of the thirty (90) days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the Bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. All work shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt of purchase order.
