The City of Richland in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Project Description The scope of work for this project includes, but not limited to, the following: A. Review and evaluate the current state of four (4) of the City's sanitary sewer lift stations for full replacement and relocation. 1. The following lift station(s) are in need of full replacement: a. Montana Sanitary Sewer Lift Station b. Meadows South Sanitary Sewer Lift Station c. Terminal Sanitary Sewer Lift Station d. Wellhouse Loop Sanitary Sewer Lift Station B. Design and prepare technical specifications and bid documents for construction 1. The City will provide the front-end documents and contract. The consultant shall provide project technical specifications and construction plans. C. Provide exhibits, drawings, details, and any documents necessary for required permitting. D. Provide engineer's opinion of probable cost at 60% and 90% design document submittal. E. Provide bidding support for RFIs, addendums, etc. F. Provide O&M/process control manuals for any processes that are changed, updated, or rehabilitated. G. Provide construction contract administration support. This will be separate task. 1.
