Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dayton, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
"Work" of this Contract is defined in the Contract Documents to include approximately 1,300 square yards of new asphalt paving and approximately 250 linear feet of underdrain installation. The scope of the work includes grading, asphalt pavement demo, asphalt paving, erosion control, underdrains, and other related work as shown on the drawings and/or in the specifications. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bidder's bond on the form obtained in the proposal from a surety company acceptable to the City of Dayton, or a Cashier's Check or Certified Check made payable to the City of Dayton, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bids. A 100% Contract Bond will be required. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after the date of opening bids.
