As of August 19, 2025, project was awarded to Ferguson Waterworks and Utility Solutions & Automation, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The City of Dayton is accepting sealed bids on Water Meters for the Water Department. All interested bidders are welcome to bid. The City of Dayton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The City of Dayton bills water usage by thousands of gallons. We want the meters to have a bronze body. High Resolution Encoded Register that is compatible with our current Honeywell system. Connection VIA Communication Cable equipped with NICOR Connector and compatible with our current Honeywell system. Meters should have freeze protection Meter sizes: 5/8" x 3/4" Mechanical 2" Single Nutating Mechanical and Ultrasonic Pricing Meters should have nutating discs Please state ifMeter Reading Display is Mechanical or Digital Encoder/register must have glass lens, no plastic, polycarbonate or polymer lenses allowed All meters must have a cast iron bottom plate, NO polymer bottom plates allowed. 2" meter should come with ability to measure pressure and temperature.
