As of June 20, 2025, the project was awarded to Danny Letner Inc dba Letner Roofing Company, with an awarded amount of $313,000. Roof Restorations District Wide. The project involves power washing the existing roof system with Simple Green to remove dirt and debris, ensuring the roof is dry before applying any coating material. Prep work includes cutting and removing all blisters, three coursing the splits with Cool Sil and mesh, applying primer to equipment flashings at a rate of 1/2 gallon per square and allowing 6 hours to cure, torch applying Stressply IV Mineral cap sheet to the primed area, and terminating plies with a termination bar set in butyl tape and caulked. Additionally, Cool Sil and mesh will be applied around penetrations, and Unibond ST 4" tape will be applied to all roof seams, ensuring strong adhesion by rolling the tape after installation. Cool Sil Primer will be applied at a rate of 1 gallon per square and allowed to cure for 6-12 hours. The roof field and flashings will receive a silicon, Title 24 white coating (Cool Sil) at 2.5 gallons per square, allowed to cure for 12 hours, followed by another layer at 1.5 gallons per square with 28 pounds per square of Title 24 white minerals embedded into the coating. Finally, all metal pans will be coated with Cool Sil at 2.5 gallons per square.
