Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Inglewood, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves the replacement of an existing year-round childcare facility, including the demolition of old buildings and the creation of parking. It will be executed in phases: Phase 1 will maintain the operation of the current facility throughout construction, while Phase 2 will involve relocating occupants to facilitate the demolition of the old facility and the establishment of parking. The buildings, play structures, soft surfaces, and shade will be provided by the owner, coordinated, and installed by the contractor. The entire construction duration is expected to be 12 months. All General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (M/E/P) Subcontractors must be pre- qualified for this project per bidding documents. The value of the contract is estimated at $6,500,000 to $8,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
