Knoxville Area Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility Renovation Project Scope of Work PBA is seeking bids from a construction firm to aid in the renovation of the restrooms at the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) Operations and Maintenance Facility which will include demo of the existing tiled wall, putting up new drywall, painting the new drywall, repairing the ceiling from the tile removal, and removing toilets and stall partitions for new flooring, pleased see attached plans for full details. Each restroom is approximately 180 square feet. This is subject to field verification by the bidder. The Procurement Office of the Public Building Authority of the County of Knox and the City of Knoxville, Tennessee ("PBA") is requesting bids for aid in the renovation of the restrooms at the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) Operations and Maintenance Facility. Question Deadline May 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM EDT. All questions must be in writing and directed to the procurement representative. Questions will be answered via addendum to the solicitation. A Bid Bond is required if the bid amount is equal to or greater than $100,000.00, at the sole cost of the contractor, to be submitted with the bid equal to five (5) percent of the bid price. A Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract amount; and A Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract amount. Award Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s). To be considered responsive, bidders must bid on all items. A responsive supplier means an entity or individual who has submitted a response, which conforms in all material respects to the terms of a solicitation. A responsible supplier means an entity or individual with the capability in all respects (e.g., experience, personnel, equipment, and finances) to fully perform the contract requirements and the integrity and reliability that will assure good faith performance. Rejection of Bids PBA reserves the right to reject any and all bids received as a result of this request. Non-acceptance of any bid will be devoid of any criticism of the bid and of any implication that the bid is deficient in any manner. Non-acceptance of any bid will be construed as meaning simply that PBA does not deem the bid to be acceptable or that another bid was deemed to be more advantageous to PBA for the services proposed.
