Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Au Train, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Au Train River Bridge Superstructure Removal, Au Train, MI Salvaging of deck and railing to be included with appropriate bid items. Remove and dispose of center span of existing trail bridge over the Au Train River. Remove approximate 5'x16' steel plate girder superstructure including steel structure and timber deck to the top of the pile caps. Includes requirements for lane/shoulder closure and maintenance of traffic. Winter conditions: Includes all costs associated with winter conditions for removal of the bridge center span including plowing, snow removal and costs associated with additional lane/shoulder closures or maintenance of traffic due to winter conditions. All contractor/vendor representatives attending a Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request five business days prior to the meeting date, (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled out and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith & Sharon Frost at email addresses: SmithD76@michigan.gov & FrostS1@michigan.gov .The email "Subject" must include (Facility Name, Project Name, Date & Time of Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting). NOTE: An individual is only permitted to represent one bidder at a mandatory walk-through. Do not wait until just before solicitation deadline to submit your bid response. SIGMA VSS will not allow a proposal to be submitted after time, even if a portion of the bid response has been uploaded. You may be asked by our contract specialists to email your bid response.
