Sealed proposals for furnishing and applying materi-als for the City of Clinton's Jackson Street resurfacing project. A proposal guar-anty in the proper amount, as spec-ified in the BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Require ments and Condi-tions for Material Proposals, will be required. Bid Bonds will be allowed as a proposal guaranty. proposal guaran The successful bidder at the time of execution of the contract will be required to deposit a contract bond for the full amount of the award. Failure on the part of the contractor to deliver the material within the time specified or to do the work specified herein will be considered just cause to forfeit his surety as provided in Article 108.10 of the Illinois Depart-ment of Transpor-tation's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The Clinton City Council reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provid-ed in BLRS Special Provision for Bid-ding Requirements and Conditions for Material Proposals. Bid date notes: Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City of Clinton and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed "Material Proposal, Jackson Street Resurfacing.
