The railing will be 70 linear feet of new metal tube railing around parameter of west patio area and at a height of 42 inches above floor level. Also install a 3-foot width access gate on the north end of the patio railing that will be built of the same materials and specs as parameter railing. Lastly, install a new sign above north wall of building based on specifications. Permits and railing plans will be required. DETAILS 1. Railing around west patio area with Gate a. Install 70 linear feet of new 42" high guard rail (Above Finished Floor level) with 1" tube steel frame. Have black vinyl coated wire fence orthogonal mesh at 2" x 2". i. All steel is to be galvanized, welded, ground smooth, primed and painted. b. Disregard existing plan reference to "36 inch height 6 inch width concrete retaining wall" on plans as that was not installed but instead the patio has an existing 6" curb around parameter. i. One area has about a 3 foot wide opening with no curb (circled in red in picture below) that will need to be the same railing height as the rest. c. Gate on north end of railing i. Install new 36" x 42" gate with 1" tube steel frame. Have black vinyl coated wire fence orthogonal mesh at 2" x 2". 1. All steel is to be galvanized, welded, ground smooth, primed and painted. ii. Install panic push exit device mounted to gate at 36" Above Finished Floor. 1. Hardware must comply with IBC 1010.1.9 New "HOPPERS BREWING CO." sign a. Install a new large lettering sign on north walls upper edge to stand out for vehicles and pedestrians passing on 900 South. i. The lettering will be 23" in height with white aluminum boxed acrylic faced lettering (Euroroman Font). ii. The lettering will also be internally lit with LEDs.
