Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dennis, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of repaving of streets/asphalt overlay: Install 2" type"D" HMAC to TxDot standards and specifications, Item #340 to include density testing ---17,500 Sq. yards EdgeMilling 6 ft wide along curb ---10,200 Sq. yards Install Tack Coat prior to overlay to TxDot standards and specifications, Item #300. Subsidiary to HMAC overlay. 400 Sq. yards of Base repair. Bids will be received for a single Contract. The Town reserves the right to accept the best value bid as deemed by the Town, or reject any and/or all responses A Bidder's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Abid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with eachbid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
