The City of Hutto, a home-rule municipality, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from experienced and qualified firms to establish a short-list for on-call materials testing and inspection services. If suitable, the city would like to select up to seven (7) firms to provide such services for all its departments. Selected firms will provide field and laboratory testing for construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Typical services may include soil compaction testing, concrete and asphalt testing, steel inspections, and geotechnical support. Firms should demonstrate experience with public infrastructure projects and the ability to deliver timely, certified testing results and quality assurance support during construction. The City of Hutto will consider proposals from business entities that demonstrate the ability to complete the Project within the guidelines of this solicitation, following all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws, and regulations and the terms and conditions contained in Exhibit B. Respondent must execute Exhibit A and complete other items listed on the Submission Checklist to be considered for award. Selected firms will be eligible for consideration for future projects, with task orders being issued by the City at the beginning of Fiscal Year 2026 for a period of two years with a one-year extension option. Inclusion in the pool does not guarantee the award of work. All questions, clarifications, or requests for general information should be completed via online.
