The Project includes renovation of the UO Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility at the ground floor of Onyx Bridge. The University of Oregon (UO) is an AA/EEO employer and encourages the submittal of responses from Oregon based businesses including women, minority-owned and emerging small business enterprises. Bids will be received on a lump-sum basis for all of the work. IMPORTANT NOTICE - Responsibility of Each Vendor Participating in the Bidding Process: It will be the responsibility of each participating Vendor to refer daily to the UO Business Opportunities website to check for any available opportunities, addendum to current opportunities, cancellations, or intents to award posted there. It is not UO's responsibility to notify participating Vendors by email or by any other means of any of the above. UO has adopted policies applicable to all Vendors/Contractors that prohibit sexual harassment and that the Vendor's/Contractor's company and employees are required to adhere to institutional policies prohibiting sexual harassment in their interactions with members of the institutional community. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided. Pre bid meeting notes: Prime bidders who arrive more than 5 minutes after start of time of the meeting (as stated in the Solicitation Document and by the Owner's Representative's watch) or after the discussion portion of the meeting (whichever comes first) shall not be permitted to sign in and will not be permitted to submit a bid on the Project.
