As described in the Bidding Documents, the bids are for a public works project, Annual Traffic Signal Maintenance Services (Project) which consists of traffic signal maintenance services in conjunction with the operations of traffic signal equipment at intersections listed in the Special Provisions. Services shall generally include preventative maintenance, emergency response services, and other extraordinary work as required to provide for the continuous operation of the City of Simi Valley's (City) traffic signal equipment. Three Schedules are provided as indicated below: Schedule I: Preventative Maintenance Schedule II-A: Extraordinary or Emergency Maintenance - Estimated Annual Labor Schedule II-B: Extraordinary or Emergency Maintenance - Estimated Equipment and Material Quantities The quantities of work or material stated in the unit price items of the Bid Schedule are supplied only to give an indication of the general scope of the Work and provide a basis for selection of the Contractor. The City of Simi Valley does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amounts of work or material will correspond therewith. Extraordinary Maintenance shall be Time-and-Materials per Schedule II-A and Schedule II-B.
