Bid amounts shall remain in force and warranted against increase until July 1, 2026; however, Hopkins County Fiscal Court may terminate this contract with 30 days written notice. All bid amounts shall include delivery to the County Maintenance Garage at 2290 Laffoon Trail, Madisonville, Kentucky. Larger pipe may be delivered to job site. Bidders may bid on either polymer coated corrugated metal pipe, corrugated polyethylene pipe and/or reinforced concrete pipe. All pipe must meet either of the following State and National specifications: 1. Kentucky Bureau of Highway Standards Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (current edition as revised). 2. A.A.S.H.O.-M35 (Pipe Corrugated Metal, Bituminous Coated and Paved). 3. A.A.S.H.O.-Ml96 and M211 (Pipe, Corrugated Aluminium Alloy, Bituminous Coated and Paved). 4. Class Ill (632.1.0) (Pipe, Concrete, Reinforced). 5. AASHTO M294-921 (Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe). 6. American Society of Testing Materials. The manufacturer of metal pipe shall list the lot number on the shipping ticket of all delivered pipe. Connecting bands for all types of pipe will be shipped upon request and will be paid for at the same unit prices as like size of pipe. Bidder shall list all classes and gauges of pipe with the unit price per foot for each. Each vendor shall include with his bid a notarized statement that all pipes will be delivered meeting these specifications. Drainage Pipe will be ordered individually in no less than a 24 foot order. Hopkins County Fiscal Court reserves the right to waive any informality, to accept the lowest or best bid, and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Local resident bidders may be eligible for a Kentucky resident bidders preference pursuant to KRS 45A.
