All bids must be made on required Bid form. Bid amounts shall remain in force and warranted against increase until July 1, 2026; however, Hopkins County Fiscal Court may terminate this contract with 30 days written notice. De-icing salt and calcium chloride will be purchased in bulk. All bid amounts shall include delivery to the County Maintenance Lot, 2290 Laffoon Trail, Madisonville, Kentucky, or delivery to US 41A, South of Earlington, Madisonville, Kentucky. All materials shall conform to the Kentucky Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2012 edition. Each vendor shall include with the bid a notarized statement that all de-icing salt and calcium chloride will be delivered meeting these specifications. Hopkins County Fiscal Court reserves the rightto waive any informality, to accept the lowest or best bid, and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date ofthe opening thereof.
