Renovation of a swimming pool in Livonia, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Reference Number 0000384830 Project must be completed between July 7 and August 1, 2025 Question Acceptance Deadline 05/02/2025 05:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Bid submission must include total work time needed to complete the project. Lead time for materials must also be included. 2. All required permits, licenses, inspections, approvals and fees for installation and demolition work shall be secured, submitted, and paid for by the contractor, to any and all agencies. All work shall conform to all applicable codes, rules, and regulations. 3. Contractor is responsible for sand filter and components, in addition to everything as stated herein for the duration of project. a. In the event of damage, the contractor shall provide whatever monetary and labor means deemed necessary, as directed by the City of Livonia, to repair or replace and complete all work as described with the same standards. 4. Quantities shown herein or on the drawings are approximate and are provided for general information purposes only. Any quantities or measurements stated are estimates only and each contractor is responsible for taking their own measurements 1. Remove and replace sand from four (4) Neptune-Benson Filters. Model # (4)4884SHFFGS-10. Serial Number/Year built 77015-1/ 2002 (see attached manufacturer description plate below) 2. Contractor is responsible for having staff present while the City Vac-Truck is removing sand and cleanliness of the job site. 3. City will use a Vac-Truck to clean out sand from the tanks and dispose of the sand. 4. Filter media should be replaced with .45-.55mm sand with a depth of 24in/49CuFt. Per Tank or approved equivalent. 5. Remove and replace all internal lateral piping. 6. Replace all manway gaskets. 7. Start-up filters with water flow to test system for leaks and proper operation 8. Work must be completed between July 7 and August 1, 2025, you will have to come back to restart it once we have water back in the pool. We will give you a 3-5 day window. 1. Remove and replace sand from two (2) Pentair Triton II TR-140 filters. See pictures/labels below 2. Contractor is responsible for having staff present while the City Vac-Truck is removing sand and cleanliness of the job site. 3. City will use a Vac-Truck to clean out sand from the tanks and dispose of the sand. 4. Replace internal laterals on both filters 5. Use filter media .45-.55mm approved for Pentair Triton II filters 6. Replace Dome O-Ring on both filters 7. Startup system with water flow to test for leaks and proper operation 8. Work must be completed Between July 7 and August 1, 2025, you will have to come back to restart it once we have water back in the pool. We will give you a 3-5 day window
