The Project consists of: Building a fire truck access road, a truck turnaround area at the existing asphalt playground, and constructing a track. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and non-owner supplied materials to excavate and construct a 20' fire truck access road from Gray Avenue east to the asphalt playground. Remove playground asphalt and base material, and install fire truck turn area as detailed. Question Deadline 04/29/2025 at 4:00 PM PT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District The contractor shall provide materials, equipment, and labor to excavate and construct a track connected to the fire road as detailed. A bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District. A cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Yuba City Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful Bidder shall furnish to the District a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful Bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) calendar days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening.
