Project Description: Removal and replacement of the existing VRF system with a new modern VRF system. This work will consist of removal of all VRF terminals, branch selectors and piping. New VRF terminal units will match the existing unit style, branch selectors may be located in new locations and new piping will be required. The existing pathways are utilized to the extent possible. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days of the start date provided on the Notice to Proceed. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in Summer 2025. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Fall River County, SD will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: 238220 HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) contractors. The small business size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100 % for ISBEE *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
