Renovation of a municipal facility in Champaign, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,100-square-foot municipal facility.

Champaign Public Works Parking Building - Roof Overlay . Approximately 10,100 s.f. of roof assembly recover. The recover will consist of an EPDM single-ply membrane over existing EPDM single-ply roof assembly. Workforce participation goals refer to the percentage of minority and female Individuals em-ployed on a project. Bidders will be required to show that they have met one or both of the above di versity goals or that they have made, or commit to making, good faith efforts to reach those goals. Suffi-ciency of good faith efforts may vary depending on the type of contract, the type of products and/or services to be provided, and the duration of the contract. To the extent required by law, the contractor shall comply with the Illinois Pre-vailing Wage Act, the Vet-eran's Preference Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the City's Equal Op-portunity in Purchasing Or-dinance and the Illinois Hu-man Rights Act. If federal funds are used to finance this project, the contractor shall comply with the Davis-Bacon Act For additional information, see Sections 2.18 and 4.7 of the bid documents, or contact Adonis Fuller, Pur-chasing/Compliance Spe-cialist, at adonis.fuller@ champaignil.gov. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to at least TEN PERCENT (10%), as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and all other Contract Documents and file acceptable contract bond and proof of insurance within fourteen 14) days after the award of he contract and prior to commencement of work. The City of Champaign, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or por-tions thereof and to waive any formality or technical-ity in any bids in the in-terest of the City. The cri-teria for selection of the lowest responsible bidder are set forth in Section 12.5-38 of the Champaign Municipal Code, 1985, as amended and the bid docu-ments.
