**As of June 3, 2025, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available.** The purpose of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to solicit quotes to furnish/provide for the removal of existing wood decking, complete needed framing repairs and to install new custom composite decking at the Lee Hall Depot located at 9 Elmhurst St, Newport News, VA 23603. Question Submission Deadline:May 5, 2025, 2:00pm Scope of Work A. The Contractor shall install custom Trex Select Decking on porches, ramps and loading dock/deck. (approx. 1,204 square feet) o The Contractor shall demo existing decking boards. o The Contractor shall detach existing posts, railing and preserve as needed for decking installation. o The Contractor shall install Trex Protect joist tape "No Substitute" on all existing and new wood framing joists prior to installation of decking. o The Contractor shall install Trex Transcend Decking 2"x 6" (Lava Rock). This brand/style is a "No Substitute" product. o The Contractor shall use Simpson DUC 10 x 2 3/4 color match screws. This brand/size is a "No Substitute" product. o The Contractor shall reattach existing posts and railing. B. Deck with handicap ramp. o The Contractor shall replace all decking joists with new framing. C. The Contractor shall clean up the area at the end of each day and at project completion. D. The site will be open during normal operating hours. No work is to be done on the weekends.
