CITY OF BRODHEAD is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: CROSSWINDS DEVELOPMENT The Project includes the following Work: Work includes but is not limited to; approximately 3,425 L.F. of new roadway, sidewalk; sanitary sewer main, structures, and laterals; water main, appurtenances, and services; and storm sewer main and structures for 54 lots along 3rd Street, 4th Street, East 11th Avenue, East 12th Avenue, and East 13th Avenue. Roadway Work includes but is not limited to; 30-inch curb and gutter, base course, asphaltic concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, and concrete ada ramps. Large storm water management facilities, excavation, grading, restoration, and erosioncontrol Work for the site. The anticipated substantialcompletion date is 9/30/2025and final completion date is10/30/2025. No proposal will be acceptedunless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equalto at least 5% of the amountbid, payable to the Owner as aguarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will executeand file the proper contract andbond within 15 days after theaward of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will bereturned to the bidder as soonas the contract is signed, and ifafter 15 days the bidder shall failto do so, the certified check orbid bond shall be forfeited to theOwner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw theirbid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right towaive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
