All Questions Related to This Bid Shall Be Submitted in Writing to Lrudd@withersravenel.com by 5:00 Pm Local Time on June 6, 2025 to Receive Consideration. Questions Received After That Time Will Not Be Answered or Accepted. A Final Addendum Will Be Provided Prior to the Bid Date. Bidders Are Responsible for the Review of Any Addenda for the Project and Shall Acknowledge the Addenda on the Bid Form. Incomplete or Segregated Bids Will Not Be Accepted. The Proposed Project Includes Replacing and Rerouting Portions of the Existing 2 Galvanized (Gv) Water Line With New 6 Water Line (and Appurtenances Including Fire Hydrants) and New 4 Water Line. The Project Will Also Replace the Booster Pumps With Pumps Sized to Appropriately Fill the New Storage Tank, as Well as Add a Generator to Provide Redundancy During a Power Outage. Lastly, the Project Will Replace the Existing 12,000-gal Dog Mountain Ground Storage Tank With a New 75,000-gal Tank. A Final Addendum Will Be Provided Prior to the Bid Date. Bidders Are Responsible for the Review of Any Addenda for the Project and Shall Acknowledge the Addenda on the Bid Form. Incomplete or Segregated Bids Will Not Be Accepted. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of 5% of the Total Amount Bid Made Payable to the Owner. The Bid Deposit Shall Be Retained by the Owner if the Successful Bidder Fails to Execute Contracts or Fails to Provide the Required Bonds, as Stated Above, Within Ten (10) Days After the Proper Notice of Award of the Contract. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of 90 Consecutive Calendar Days After Bid Opening Except as Provided in Information for Bidders. Bidders Must Show Evidence That They Are Licensed to Perform the Work in the Bid Documents as Required by the North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87. The Owner Reserves the Right to Award a Contract to the Lowest, Responsive, Responsible Bidder or Bidders, Taking Into Consideration Quality, Performance, and Time. This Project is Funded With American Rescue Plan Act (Arpa) Grant Provided by the Nc Division of Water Infrastructure.
