Site work for a civil project in Highlands, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project includes replacing and rerouting portions of the existing 2" Galvanized (GV) water line with new 6" water line (and appurtenances including fire hydrants) and new 4" water line. The project will also replace the booster pumps with pumps sized to appropriately fill the new storage tank, as well as add a generator to provide redundancy during a power outage. Lastly, the project will replace the existing 12,000-gal Dog Mountain ground storage tank with a new 75,000-gal tank.
