The City of Rancho Cucamonga (hereinafter "City") is inviting qualified Contractors (hereinafter "Contractor") to submit a proposal response for Request for Proposals ("RFP") for Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance for PD 85 Parks in accordance with the minimum Scope of Services and Specifications indicated herein. Question Deadline 05/08/2025 at 9:00 AM PT Online Q&A Yes The scope of work is complete, continuous, consistent, and safe landscape and irrigation maintenance of the designated areas that are specified herein. During, and at the end of the contract period, all plant material shall be in a healthy, growing condition and all irrigation systems will be in the proper state of repair and adjustment. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for performing landscape and irrigation maintenance according to the specifications herein. The intent and purpose of this agreement is to provide a level of maintenance to the areas such that each will present a safe, pleasing, and desirable appearance within the limitations of the contracted service levels. The contractor agrees to maintain all the designated areas covered by this Agreement at such levels. The Public Works Services Director, or their designated representative, shall be the sole judge as to the adequacy and quality of maintenance. The City reserves the right to withdraw this Solicitation at any time without prior notice and makes no representations that an award will be issued to any Vendor responding to this Solicitation. The City expressly reserves the right to reject any and all Solicitation Responses without indicating any reasons for such rejections. Solicitation Responses become the property of the City. The City recognizes that price is only one of several criteria to be utilized in judging a product or service, and the City is not legally bound to accept the lowest Solicitation Response. Please do not add California Sales Tax to your pricing calculations. The City does not award based off of an amount including tax and the applicable amount of CA Sales Tax will be added to the Grand Total during the issuance of a Purchase Order. BUSINESS LICENSE The successful Vendor may be required to obtain a Rancho Cucamonga Business License prior to any services or work being rendered. Vendor must also possess and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications Only those responses received from registered Vendors will be accepted. Responses must be submitted by the named Vendor that has downloaded the solicitation; this information is indicated in the bid system and provides the ability to tabulate the responses in accordance to the named From the issuance date of this Solicitation until an award is issued, Vendors are not permitted to communicate with any City Staff or Officials regarding this solicitation, other than under the direction of the designated representatives of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as indicated in the solicitation. The City reserves the right to conduct pre-award discussions and/or pre-Contract negotiations with any or all responsive Vendors who submit solicitation responses. The right is reserved, unless otherwise stated, to accept or reject all or any solicitation responses, or any part thereof, either separately or as a whole, or to waive any informality and to split or make the award in any manner determined by the City to be in the best interest of the City. The Vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that the complete solicitation response is received by the City in accordance with the solicitation requirements, prior to the date and time specified in the solicitation, and at the place specified. The City shall not be responsible for any delays in mail or by common carriers or by transmission error or delays or missed delivery.
