Site work and paving for a civil project in Olympia, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This contract provides for the construction of the Griggs Creek Fish Passage project in Thurston County. This is a culvert replacement project, with a small section of instream restoration and regrading, funded by salmon recovery dollars. The primary project elements include: Removing one 30-inch diameter by 33-foot-long circular HDPE culvert pipe and. associated fill material from a private crossing of Griggs Creek. Replacing the crossing with a 39-foot-long x 15-foot wide, prefabricated concrete bridge planks, and bridge sills Reconstructing a natural stream simulated, channel through the new bridge crossing and at the downstream restoration site. Placing streambed gravel mix on the re-grade slopes. Reconstructing the unpaved driveway approach roadway to new bridge and to improve drainage runoff away from the Griggs creek.
