Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes pavement resurfacing, concrete curb and sidewalk replacement, and accessibility improvements along New Ballas Road from Magna Carta Drive to Olive Boulevard. Staff plans to apply for federal grant assistance for this project in February of 2026 with a requested amount of $900,000. If the grant is awarded in the fall of 2026, it is anticipated that then the City would commence with design phase in FY2027 in the estimated amount of $150,000. FY2028 includes right of way acquisition and FY2029 includes construction costs which 80% of these costs would be covered with STP funding if the grant is awarded. It is anticipated that the City would not move forward with design services until the grant has been awarded. This project is the last of what is expected to be four phases of work along New Ballas Road. The project is included in the City 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 25, 2025, design phase FY2027 and construction in FY2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
