Long Branch Free Public Library Elberon Branch Renovations The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project generally includes exterior and interior renovations such as roofing, window and siding replacement, exterior painting and door repairs, selective demolition, new interior finishes, upgrades to the building mechanical/HVAC system, electrical modifications and lighting replacement, plumbing fixture replacement, and exterior landscaping improvements, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Bidding Documents. The building will be unoccupied during construction and the Contractor shall include any and all necessary temporary provisions, work sequencing and other contingencies/allowances in its bid to maintain a safe, secure, water-tight and climate-controlled building. Question Deadline 05/09/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All Work of this Contract shall be completed within 180 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to the Long Branch Purchasing Department at the address listed above. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price shall be supplied in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, but not in excess of $20,000.00 and must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project are required. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after opening and the City of Long Branch reserves the right to reject any and all Bids to the extent permitted by law *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
