Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Modesto, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Modesto (City) is soliciting request for proposal for the Pelandale Streetscape Improvement Project for the City of Modesto. Background Pelandale Avenue is a principle arterial roadway which traverses across northern Modesto. The roadway starts at the exit of Highway 99 and extends 4.26 miles east to McHenry Avenue, where it transitions into Claratina Avenue. Classified as a Class B expressway, it accommodates an average of 24,000 drivers daily. The road passes through several residential neighborhoods, ensuring access for residents and enhancing community connectivity. Recent development along the corridor has also introduced a range of commercial establishments, including shopping centers, restaurants, and businesses, establishing it as a vital economic corridor in Modesto. Despite the roads significant importance there are lengthy sections along Pelandale Avenue where drainage and landscaping enhancements are needed. Additionally, the absence of landscaping along the road's shoulders and median diminishes the aesthetic look of the road. These conditions are objectives which this project aims to remedy.
