Principal items of work include5,260 LF of 6" CL200 PVC Water Main, 980 LF of 8" HDPE Directional Drill, and related appurtenances and The entire project shall be completed in ninety (90) working days. No bid documentswill be distributed later than7 days prior to the scheduled opening of bids. The Owner reserves the rightto reject any or all bids and towaive any informalities. Guarantee will be required witheach bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in theform of a certified check or BidBond payable to the Town of Hayneville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. TreasuryDepartment. Each bidder mustsubmit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions providedin the Information for Bidders.The successful bidder will berequired to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Each bidder must be licensedas a Contractor in the State ofAlabama in accordance withprovisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama,1985, and must submit withthis bid satisfactory evidence ofsuch license. All bids shall be submitted inthe contract specifications bookas issued by the Engineer. Allbids shall be submitted in asealed envelope bearing on theoutside the name of the bidder,bidder's license number, license expiration date, category,address, and name of the project.
