Question Submission Deadline: May 9, 2025, 2:00pm Question Response Deadline : May 13, 2025, 2:00pm The City seeks a three-year contract with potential for two (2) one-year extensions. The City of Portsmouth is requesting proposals from qualified Janitorial Services companies to enter into a term service contract for seasonal cleaning of the outdoor pool at Pierce Island, and yearlong cleaning services within the indoor pool at 48 Jarvis Drive. Services will include cleaning of offices, restrooms, locker rooms and pool decks seven days a week. The Cleaning Services company will use ATTACHMENT A as a guide to develop a schedule for cleaning work. Tasks required for this proposal include but are not limited to: Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces Window cleaning: Cleaning interior windows, glass partitions, or glass doors Kitchen and break room cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, and microwaves Bathroom cleaning: Cleaning and supplying restrooms Trash removal: Collecting and disposing of trash in the proper manner Minor maintenance: Performing minor maintenance on equipment and fixtures, such as switching lightbulbs and unclogging toilets Supply restocking: Restocking bathrooms and supply closets The City of Portsmouth requires a firm to conduct daily cleaning of its Municipal pools. a) The City's Outdoor pool is located on Peirce Island and is open daily from June 23 through August 24. b)The City's Indoor pool is located on Andrew Jarvis Drive and is open daily September through June, closed in August.
