Reference Number 0000384943 Furnish all labor, material and equipment to design, reseal and re-stripe the existing tennis courts located on the north side of Sanborn Park, next to the Tennis House, to accommodate use as pickleball courts. This includes the furnishing and installation of net tension system and 4-foot chain link fencing as shown on the drawings or specified in the Project Manual. The work consists of the coating and painting pickleball courts at the north end of Sanborn Park in Port Huron, Michigan. The address is 1903 Sanborn St. Port Huron, MI 48060. There are two courts located in the most northern part of the park. Base bid shall include all work done to both courts. Alternative bid will be for additional fencing for both courts. Work shall be completed in accordance with MDOT standard specifications for construction, 2020 Edition. If deemed necessary, depending upon project cost estimates, a certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in the amount equal to five (5%) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid in excess of $50,000. The successful company will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material bonds, maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates if project is over the threshold amount and as deemed necessary or required by the City. No bids may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose. The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all quotes or bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in the same, and to accept any quote or bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests.
