Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Defiance, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Improvements to the existing Screening and Grit Removal Building, including replacement of the existing screening equipment with two center flow fine screens, each with a capacity of approximately 14 million gallons per day, and associated screening channel, sluice gate, and building structural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades. Additionally, the Project includes the installation of a new septage receiving facility immediately adjacent to the existing wastewater treatment plant site, including associated site civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical improvements. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. General Conditions within 600 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. CONTRACTOR shall provide all items, articles, materials, operations or methods mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified: including all labor, supervision, equipment, incidentals, taxes, and permits necessary to complete the Work as described within the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall install all items provided by OWNER as mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified.
