The estimated cost is $261,250. The scope of the work consists of the construction of an approximately 70 foot by 40 foot building addition to the District's headquarters building. Proposals must be submitted in the format furnished by the District, must contain the full name of every per-son interested therein and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of a bond as required in Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code with satisfactory surety to accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the proposal by a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit pursuant to ORO 1305 and ORC 153.43 on a solvent bank, subject to any conditions provided in the District's notice to bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and shall promptly execute the Agreement to perform he work. Bidders may submit written questions if desired, but any such answers, or a failure to answer questions, shall not be relied upon, will not be binding or otherwise legally effective. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the sched-uled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding process to the fullest extent permissible by law, and to award any bidder to the lowest and best bidder, as determined entirely at the District's discretion. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Contract has a question as to the meaning of any part of the Drawings, specifications or other documents pertinent to the Bid, he or she may submit to the District a written request to the contact provided in the Advertisement for Bids for an interpretation thereof.
