Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated before a decision is made. Social Circle City School District reserves the right to evaluate all proposals, waive any informality, reject any and all proposals, accept portions of any proposal, and accept any proposal that, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the school system. Social Circle City School District shall take an amount of time deemed necessary by the District to make the award, meaning notice of award should not be expected on the deadline date for submission of proposals. The District may elect to conduct post-RFP interviews with any or all vendors as deemed appropriate and in the best interest of Social Circle City Schools. A competitive selection process may be used post-RFP if deemed appropriate and in the best interest of the Social Circle City School District. Contract period is anticipated to begin on or before June 1, 2025. Custodial Services Required for the Following Facilities Social Circle Elementary School 2311 Social Circle Parkway, Social Circle, GA 30025 (approximately 105,045 sf) Social Circle Middle/High School (Combined) 154 Alcova Drive, Social Circle, GA 30025 (approximately 143,567 sf) Social Circle Middle/High School Athletic Complex 154 Alcova Drive, Social Circle, GA 30025 (approximately 20,447 sf) Social Circle City Schools Board of Education 147 Alcova Drive, Social Circle, GA 30025 (approximately 12,924 sf) Social Circle City Schools Maintenance/Transportation 240 West Hightower Trail, Social Circle, GA 30025 (approximately 5430 sf) Social Circle Alternative School 240 West Hightower Trail, Social Circle, GA 30025 (1800 sf) Social Circle Elementary School Gym 240 West Hightower Trail, Social Circle, GA 30025 (14,720 sf) From the contractor, the School District requires: daily cleaning of all facilities; labor; supervision of custodial staff, consumable supply stock, and quality of work; cleaning supplies and chemicals; and preventive maintenance on all vendor-provided equipment. Scope of services includes, but is not limited to, inspecting, surface cleaning, deep cleaning, and reporting. Items such as restrooms, sinks, toilets, walls, carpet, windows, vents, doors, furniture, fixtures, etc., must be properly and thoroughly cleaned. The Contractor will provide a Site Manager of Custodial Services to manage the employees assigned to our facilities. The Contractor will provide all cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment as needed to meet and exceed the expectations of the District. The Contractor will deep clean, scrub, and sanitize restrooms daily. All Contractor employees must be provided uniforms to be worn at all times while on the job. Social Circle City Schools-issued ID badges will be issued to Contractor employees. The chosen vendor must provide a vehicle for the Site Manager to use for daily duties around campuses. The Contractor must comply with all statutes of Georgia's Equal Opportunity Employer Act and be a Drug-Free Employer. Criminal background checks (state and federal) must be run on all employees, and they must sign a consent form for a third party to view. During the contract period, the District and/or Contractor may terminate the agreement if a breach occurs, which is not resolved within thirty days after written notice. The total due payment will be prorated for the months that services were provided. Invoices must be submitted on or after the 1st of the month for services rendered in the preceding month. The monthly total should be the contract price divided by the number of months in the contract period.
