S.N. 072-4312 is a single span concrete superstructure bridge supported on timber piles. The structure was constructed in 1964 and has a Sufficiency Rating of 30.5. The existing timber piles and timber retaining walls are in poor condition, which required the bridge to be closed to all traffic. Rehabilitation of the timber piles and retaining walls was determined to be cost prohibitive. Replacement of the bridge is the only cost-effective method to reopen the road. The Bridge Fund up-fronts the township construction costs and is reimbursed 50% of the costs from the township upon completion of the project after all available Township Bridge Program Funds are utilized. The project is included in the county's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 29, 2025, per owner, new engineer identified, construction now starting in 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
