Phase I Preliminary Engineering of Radnor Road from Willow Knolls Road to Alta Lane, as well as Phase II Preliminary Engineering and Construction of Radnor Road from Willow Knolls Road to a point 0.75 miles north. The City of Peoria intends to extend Pioneer Parkway to IL Route 6, which would create a new intersection with Radnor Road. Additionally, the Medina Plains TIF and a planned industrial business park will also access Radnor Road. Radnor Road is not constructed to handle the traffic that will be created from the proposed improvements. This project will allow Radnor Road to be constructed to handle the increased traffic that is expected on Radnor Road. Future grant funding will need to be secured to help cover the construction and construction engineering costs, with a total estimated project cost of over $12 million. The project is included in the county's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 29, 2025, per owner, phase 1 is a study.
