Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in South Grafton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work for this project generally consists of constructing a 40' x 50' metal building with slab on grade foundation and equipment for PFAS removal to treat 650 gallons per minute flow from nearby Wells #2 and #3. The PFAS filter vessels are a single train with two 10-foot diameter tanks using Flouro-Sorb filter media. The system will include SCADA integration, flow meters, interior piping, gauges, valves, dehumidification system, and a natural gas backup generator system. Miscellaneous site features include a lined backwash basin, infiltration basin, fencing, gravel, grading, bollards, and paving. Bids/Sub bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance. The Certificate of Eligibility shall be for the category of Sewage and Water Treatment Plants or the appropriate sub-bid category, respectively for Bidders and Sub-bidders. A five (5%) percent bid bond is required with bid submission. This Contract is being Bid on under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 44A through 44J. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 30 days (Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded) after the actual date of the Bid Opening The project is being funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust (the "Trust") and therefore, all work is subject to the requirements of the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program as administered by the online The total time period for completion of all Work required under this Contract is 450 consecutive calendar days. Work performed beyond the 450 consecutive calendar day period will be subject to liquidated damages in the amount specified herein. Contract Documents will be mailed to prospective bidders upon receipt of a separate check or money order for $50.00 (nonrefundable) made payable to Comprehensive Environmental Inc. Upon request, an electronic copy of the Contract Documents will be emailed to prospective bidders (no charge).
