The Road Commission of Kalamazoo County (RCKC) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for 8th Street- 150' south of Hart Drive culvert project. This bid is for the aluminum box culvert only, and/or the removal and installation of the culvert, as specified. DESCRIPTION OF WORK At 8th Street over Sand Creek, replace the existing crossing with a 40.5-foot long by 10-foot span by 4.833-foot rise metal box culvert with wingwalls. Recess 1.33 feet below the streambed profile. Recess four cubic yards of riprap below the Ordinary High-Water Mark around the inlet and outlet. Impact 0.004 acres of scrub-shrub wetland with the placement of six cubic yards of fill. All work shall be performed according to the attached plans and permit conditions.
