Schoolcraft Community Schools is presenting an opportunity to completely demo and remove boilers 1 & 2 at our 7-12 Jr/Sr High School. 13400 south 14th street Schoolcraft MI. 49087 Scope SCS is seeking bids for the complete demo and removal of boilers 1 & 2 and complete installation of 2 new boilers. The complete installation will require the following: Electrical work to bring power back to the new boilers Controls work to be completed to tie back into our BMS system Exhaust duct work will need to be adapted to fit new boilers and our current exhaust stack Natural gas lines will need to be reworked and plumbed into the new boilers The new boilers will require a factory authorized rep to complete and document startup of the new boilers. Special note: the contractor is responsible for verifying that any programs in the BMS system will not violate manufacturers specifications for boiler operations. The awarded contractor will guarantee this project will be completed and the new boilers will be fully operational prior to Oct 1 st of 2025. The district will attempt to provide a written response to all written requests for clarification within 72 hours after the receipt of such request. The district will not respond to any requests for clarification less than 72 hours prior to the deadline to submit the proposal. Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, in a form satisfactory to the District, in the amount of 100% of its Proposal by a Treasury listed Surety licensed to do business in the State of Michigan The project will be completed in two phases as outlined below: Phase1 Demo boilers 1 & 2 Remove control wires (preserve) remove gas lines, electrical, supply and return heating pipes, remove exhaust piping, Remove boilers from the building.
