The City of Scott City, Missouri, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for providing comprehensive city planning and development services. The selected vendor will assist in the development of a long-term plan that addresses land use, infrastructure, transportation, and community growth while promoting sustainability and resilience. Scope of Work The scope of services should include, but not be limited to: 1.Community Engagement - facilitation of public meetings and surveys. 2. Existing Conditions Analysis (current land use,infrastructure, environmental factors, and economic trends). 3. Future Use Planning (develop strategies for zoning, housing,commercial development, and green space preservation). 4. Transportation & Infrastructure - recommendations for roadways,public transit, pedestrian pathways, utilities. 5. Economic Development - strategies for attracting businesses, supporting local enterprises, and enhancing job opportunities. This function is being served currently but additional strategies are welcomed.6. Implementation plan - Develop a roadmap for executing recommendations, including funding strategies and timelines. IV.Proposal Requirements Interested firms must submit proposals that include: - Executive Summary - Firm background and qualifications - Relevant project experience - Project approach and methodology - Estimated timeline - Cost proposal - Key personnel resumes - References from previous projects Project commencement: July 1, 2025 with expected completion within 9 to 12 months or by June 30, 2026.
